26 kids joined the Adams Plank Enterprise Baptist Church SON Rock Kids Camp on Saturday, June 13th, for an exciting day of Vacation Bible School.

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of GOD: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.                        1 John 3:1.

The Kids began to show up and register for the camp around 8:30 and were all eating breakfast around 9:00.  Opening ceremony was then held in the Church Sancturary where Church staff were introduced and the kids were welcomed with a camp song and dance.  From here the kids where seperated into the different camps: Bible Believing Beavers camped at Beaver Creek, God's Gophers camped at Grace Grove, and Obeying Otters who camped at Otter Oasis.  In their camps the kids were taught about Peter, James and John, Fisherman of Men and also "What Man am I", Peter denying Christ.  In between the lessons, there were games on the Church yard as well as crafts in the fellowship hall.  The Kids ate at Critter Cafe for their meals and snacks and they all enjoyed a hayride after lunch.

The games included obstacles courses, tug-of-war (made several of the camp staff extremely sore the next day), fishing, duck-duck-goose, and Mister Skunk, what time is it?  The kids enjoyed playing with a parachute while registration was taking place.  The day ended with a song and snack, followed by closing ceremonies and awarded of camp certificates to all those attending.  Throughout the day the camp staff was assissted with lessons by Protector Director who taught The Lord's Prayer and Danger Ranger who taught the camp Bible verse (shows above).

From all reports the camp was a huge success and everyone had a Great time.  God blessed with beautiful weather as well as a great camp staff.  The Church would like to thank all those who assisted with either teaching, food preparation, games, or general camp support; it would not be possible without your help.

May God Bless your efforts as well as all the campers who attended!!!!!
